On the 28th Of October we celebrated Diwaliat school.The programme commenced with the auspicious Laxmi and Ganesh puja. .All the students and teacher joined the Aarti and prayers. Celebrations started with an amazing opening diya dance by Manjari maam. .After that it was non-stop singing, dancing and celebrations.
7th October, 2016
We celebrated Dussehra on 7th October. The students heard the epic story of the victory of good over evil and coloured pictures of Ram and Sita. Some students performed the lively Dandiya dance and Manjari Ma’am concluded the celebration with a solo performance.
27th September, 2016
Delhi Tourism organized an outing on 27 September all the students to mark World Tourism Day the tourism office provided an opportunity for our school to see the QUTUB MINAR AND GARDEN OF FIVE SENSES. They were treated to delicious snacks and returned happy.
23rd March, 2016
Program started with “Why we celebrate Holi” by Ruchi mam followed by group dance by group 1, group 2 and Divya. Then solo dance of Harsh.then a holi poem prepared by Hitish .This was followed by manjari maam’s dance . then a musical game was played in which all students participated and Nirmal sir played harmonium and the children have to identified the song Then Manjari Mam Dance on “chane ke khet me” then Jayanti maam wished all the students Happy Holi. The program ended with applying colors on each other and free dance.
3rd march 2016:
Rail Museum is always a favourite with students. A group of students had the opportunity to visit the museum after their exams. It was a happy and enjoyable visit for all.
4th April 2016:
On 4th April, Manjari Dalmia participated in a dance program at the invitation from Akshay Pratisthan. The occasion was to celebrate Akshay Utsav, their annual event. Her solo dance performance was greatly appreciated by all.
A group dance was presented by Hasheeta, Anjali, Divya, Bhavna And Shivangi.
13th April 2016
Vikas ji, Shivangi, Hasheeta and Anjali participated in the carrom competition at Very Special Arts. They were awarded the third prize for their wonderful play.
24th April 2016
24th April marked the end of our academic year and school Graduation Day. Shivangi, Akshay and Tania have been promoted to class X and will be attempting the National Open School exam.
Other students were equally excited as they were assigned new teachers and classes. It was a of day celebration! The highlight was a dance by Manjari Dalmia that concluded the ceremony.
2 nd April is observed the world over as World Autisum Awareness Day. As part of this awareness, an inclusive art carnival was organized at the India Habitat Centre .Twenty-five students participated in the art carnival. They received certificates for their participation.
Volunteers from Laldy Shri Ram college conducted drama classes for our students. The Hindi play “Aasman Gira” involved several of our children who played the role of animals in the jungle. The students performed amazingly. The event was followed by games, fun and laughter!
Very Special Arts organized a computer festival on the 21 st April./ Divya got the 1 st prize in the 14 to 18 years category, Hasheeta stood 2 nd in the senior group and Mohit received a certificate for his active participation .
A challenging carom competition was held on 28 th April at VSA. Our champions Anjali, Shivangi, Faisal and Divya represented Four Steps at the event.
